Car insurance that includes breakdown cover - money saving or false economy?

Does anybody have their breakdown cover through their car insurance policy?
Is it any good?
Doesn't seem to include home start on most policies I've seen, but the basic level of cover seems ok.

So, is this a money saving approach to breakdown cover? Or is it false economy?

Personally, I've found it less expensive separately (currently with Green Flag) but that includes Home Start & Recovery, whereas, as you say, most quotes included with insurance are just for basic.

May vary from company to company; best idea, get a few quotes inclusive/separate and compare.
