UKPC DBC Legal PCN Claim

Hi,
Hoping for a little additional guidance, as i'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed by all the information on here.
I recently received a court judgement (I believe that's what it's called) from The County Court Business Centre (CCBC) - dated 04 Jul 2022. The 'offence' is from July last year.
I ignored all letters from both UKPC and the following Debt collectors letters as I it all looked like a scam. (even the CCBC letter looks off to me (low resolution imagery) - though a phone call confirmed it's legit) - sinking feeling!
1. Submitted the 'Acknowledgement of service' via the moneyclaim website. (admittedly did this after day 3 though blind panic)
2. Submitted and received the SAR request info from UKPC
3. Copied the defence template from here - is there anything in there that needs editing other that 1 and 2? (i've read through it but just wanted to confirm)
4. Next step is to complete my defence statement (number 3 on defence)
5. Once step 4 is complete i'll follow the steps lined out in 'Submitting your defence" set out by KeithP.
That's it so far, but am starting to get confused about the 'Set Aside', or is that the same as 'Acknowledgment Of Service'? or if I need it at all?
Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

Did you receive a court judgment or a court claim form (N1)? If it is a N1 claim form and, from reading the steps 1-5 that is what you have, then don't bother about the set-aside as that is for when people have received an actual CCJ rather than a claim form. If, however, you have received a CCJ then you need to read the set-aside thread.2

@Le_Kirk @Coupon-mad - thank you for clarifying.
Yes, just noticed claim form has a code at the bottom - N1SDT Claim form (04.14)0 -
What's the 'date of issue' of the claim and what date does MCOL say your AOS was received?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Date of issue is 04/07
MCOL is 07/070 -
Ok - thanks - you lost two days by doing the MCOL earlier than day 5. But no harm done! With a Claim Issue Date of 4th July, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service already (but after just 3 days) you have until 4pm on 4th August to file your Defence.
Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To find our Template Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try to 'Start Defence' via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Leave that alone! Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'. Defence and the subsequent N180 form (see NEWBIES thread) is done by email.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
