The fourth post of the NEWBIES Announcement tells you precisely what to do with that poor quality bog-paper.

Is this to do with the PCN you got cancelled at IAS appeal stage, or is it for a different one?
If the former, please continue to post on your other thread and let this one die.
If not, please tell us more.

Is this related to your other CPMS thread?

If so, then please continue all discussion on that thread.

    But to answer your question...
The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread describes exactly how to deal with debt collectors letters, and to summarise that post - ignore them.

Hi, received an email today from a company called BW Legal chasing payment for an alleged parking breach, should I ignore these people? Their basically offering me to pay in instalments for the alleged event. Cheers

    Ignore it.

Do not ignore a Letter of/before Claim nor a Court Claim.

What happened when you complained to the landowner and your MP? That is always Plan A.

Depends if it's a LBC, which you must not ignore. As covered in the NEWBIES thread LBC section in the second post of that announcement thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok, we have been given until the 13th December to pay these people £160. I am defending this on behalf of my son and willing to go all the way with it, unfortunately my son has contacted BW without me knowing and offered to pay the initial £100 and no more, to which BW refused. Can they use this "phone call" against him should it go to court? Cheers

    Nope, that's done no damage.

Tell him not to do that again. You don't phone these people and you certainly DON'T offer them money.
