@QrizB thank you - I thought I was missing something where I hadn’t seen it mentioned anywhere.Am I right in thinking it’s cheaper than the potential up to date October forecast?0

The forum started mentioning it on the 26th of June, but yes it's keeping quite a low profile.Mrs_F_2017 said:@QrizB thank you - I thought I was missing something where I hadn’t seen it mentioned anywhere.
It works out as about £2800/yr for Ofgem's average customer, vs. recent October cap forecasts of over £3200.Mrs_F_2017 said:Am I right in thinking it’s cheaper than the potential up to date October forecast?

Hi all,
after seeing @Mstty post on another thread…,
should I be considering the Green Energy Sparklkng v6 2023?Screenshot attached of details.Looks like the prices are competitive against the newest October forecast unless I’m missing something? And no exit fees?Thanks0 -
Thanks @Mstty - you are all doing a great job helping people on here!1

Well I have managed to further reduce summer usage in July for both gas & electricity, so hopefully can replicate this again through August & September (and maybe October if its mild!)
I have taken the further step of turning the temperature on the hot water (I think!) and it only used 6.97kwh to heat a tank on Monday morning versus nearer 10 previously, so hopefully some small savings to be had there too going forward. And for the first time, Mr F has been more aware of the increasing costs & need to be more mindful of usage so hopefully that’ll help too!0 -
That's superb news well done. We found energy saving became addictive but have stopped looking at the daily figures as our routine and weekly/monthly costs and coming out consistently now👍0
