Future nil rate band (NRB) rises/levels

Hi everyone,
The current NRB of £325,000 has remained the same since 2009 and will be reviewed in 2025/26.
I know it's asking how longs a piece of string. But what might the future rise look like? £25k-£50k-£100k ?
How about in 20 years time?
What do you think

Could have been a more in depth question after so many visits you have made. No point in guessing this, but if you come up with a serious question, I feel sure the members will be interested to help anyone with a serious question..I'm a retired IFA who specialised for many years in Inheritance Tax, Wills and Trusts. I cannot offer advice now, but my comments here and on Legal Beagles as Sam101 are just meant to be helpful. Do ask questions from the Members who are here to help.0

Sorry I wasn't being flippant. Just trying to think ahead for estate planning.0

Estate planning has always been based on the present situation and not what may happen. The idea of correct planning is to regularly review plans as changes are made, which is why Financial Planners who are doing their job correctly, will arrange annual review meetings with their clients.I'm a retired IFA who specialised for many years in Inheritance Tax, Wills and Trusts. As above no one has a crystal ball into the tax future, you play by the current rules and adapt as they change. This includes keeping your wills reviewed and amending them if old clauses, such as NRB trusts, become redundant or actually lead to higher tax being paid.
