Transfer of ownership

Situation: Mother owned house outright, passed away leaving her husband as a life beneficiary to live in the house until his death. After which the house passes to her son (her husbands stepson) The house currently left in the property trust fund.

As I understand the house will need to now be transferred into the names of the trustees to hold on trust. Can anyone help with the correct forms that need to be filled in please? We believe it’s the AS1 and AP1. Is this correct please?

There’s a Land Registry thread, and you would be better off asking there.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

If you call the Land Registry, they will help you with the correct forms. There is no rush to do this as it does not matter if this is done now or months ahead, just needs to be registered in the name of the Trust.

You can use our assisted guidance for direction on what forms etc to use
    https://customerhelp.landregistry.gov.uk/guide-external-start/?guideid=e0861516-8882-eb11-a812-000d3ad48f95
An AS1 (Assent) is used where the executor is transferring the property to the beneficiary.
Once you have decided how the legal ownership is to be transferred and to whom the guidance links you to the forms
Whilst ringing us is an option the guidance really covers our response
