Good morning folks, well, I say 'good'...the rain is lashing down outside, really nasty weather is making it seem like winter again. 

I'm up and ready to leave for my drive down to Glasgow, as the weather is so foul I'll be taking it easy.  No doubt that moving through the Rest and Be Thankful will be by convoy this morning which adds to the time. After my appointment I may head to the cinema to watch Dr Strange though I'm wouldn't lay bets on it, I'm not staying over so may well come straight back home.

Last night I got word that a very dear ex-colleague of mine died at home in the evening, I'm so sad about this.  She and I were almost exactly the same age, she'd always laugh at me for being six months older than her, she'd send me birthday and Christmas cards with home composed poems on the back to 'cheer up the postie'.  At work she was a friend and ally.  She'll be sadly missed.

I was very pleased with the result of Masterchef last night, I feel that the right person won.

My food will be on the run today, probably breakfast in Glasgow and a sandwich on the way home.
