Which was the first of The Standard hotels to open?answer = ????
The first to open was The Standard Hollywood in 1999 but it closed in 2021. The oldest of those still open is The Standard Spa, Miami Beach opened in 2006. The link from the competition page suggests that New York was the first, but The Standard High Line NYC didn't open until 2008. I don't know which of these they will accept as a correct answer.

1. Terms and Conditions
1.1 This competition opens on 28th April 2022 and closes on 9th June 2022 (the “Competition”).
1.2 Any entries received after the Closing Date (for whatever reason) will be invalid.
1.3 Condé Nast Publications Ltd decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Condé Nast Publications Ltd reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or amend without notice the terms of this promotion in the event of major catastrophe, war, strike, earthquake or any actual or anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other circumstance beyond either Condé Nast Publications Ltd control.
1.4 The Competition is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
2. Entrant restrictions
2.1 Open to UK and Eire residents only. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and proof of age will be required before the prize is dispatched.
2.2 The Competition is not open to anyone associated with The Condé Nast Publications Ltd or any associated companies.
2.3 The Condé Nast Publications Limited reserves the right to ask entrants to verify eligibility to enter by providing a valid form of I.D.
3. Route of Entry
3.1 Entry is free of charge – no purchase is necessary, internet access is required.
3.2 No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.
3.3 Condé Nast Publications Ltd accepts no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from the Eligible Participant’s error, computer malfunction, viruses, bugs or other such causes.
3.4 Condé Nast Publications Ltd are in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party websites or home page access or where any reproduction of the information relating to this competition misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions connected with the Competition.
4. Competition Details
4.1 All qualifying entrants who answer the question correctly will be placed in a free prize draw.
4.2 The prize-winner will be drawn at random after the closing date.
4.3 Winners will be notified within 28 days of the draw taking place. They will have 7 days to claim the prize. After which if not claimed, another winner will be chosen at random.
4.4 The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
4.5 The prize is a 5 consecutive night stay in a Junior Suite for up to two people (winner and one adult guest) at The Standard, Ibiza.
4.6 The prize includes €150 dining credit to be used during such hotel stay, and complimentary concierge service.
4.7 Two return flight tickets are included, from London airports to Ibiza, with a value of up to €500. Airport transfers are not included.
5. Prize Restrictions and Details
5.1 There is no cash alternative to the prize.
5.2 The prize is subject to availability and travel must be taken between 30th June 2022 - 31st May 2023.
5.3 Blackout dates apply, these include: 08.07-09.07, 15.07-16.07, 22.07-23.07, 29.07-30.07, 05.08-06.08, 12.08-13.08, 19.08-20.08.
5.4 For additional services, fees and charges may apply.
5.5 This offer cannot be combined with any other promotion

5.7 The gift voucher is non-transferable and cannot be extended past the validity date.
6. Additional terms
6.1 The winner and guest must comply fully with all applicable laws and with any hotel or governmental health and safety measures then in effect, including with respect to the coronavirus. Winner will be required to provide a valid identification and credit card (for incidental and other personal charges) at the time of check-in.
6.2 Any violation of hotel's policies, any lack or payment for hotel incidentals, or any reasonable suspicion of engagement in any illegal behaviour, in the hotel's sole discretion, may result in the winner's hotel reservation being cancelled and/or forfeiture of the prize.
6.3 Neither The Condé Nast Publications Limited nor The Standard will have any liability to the winner or guest if the winner and/or guest are unable to receive the full benefit of the prize or are denied entry to, or are asked to leave, the hotel or any other venue as a result of a failure to abide by the hotel or other venue’s terms, these terms and conditions or any applicable law, or as a result of inappropriate behaviour.
6.4 To the fullest extent permissible by law, Standard International Management, LLC will not be liable for: (i) any loss or damage caused by a third party who is not acting on behalf of or under the direct instructions of Standard International Management, LLC; (ii) any loss or damage occurring as a result of the winner taking up and using any third-party product or service forming part of the Prize (except where caused by the negligence of Standard International Management, LLC, its agents or distributors or that of their employees); (iii) any loss or damage caused by any event or circumstance beyond Standard International Management, LLC’s reasonable control; (iv) any loss of profits or revenue, loss of anticipated savings or loss of goodwill; or (v) any unavailability of Standard International Management, LLC’s websites, apps or social media accounts. However, nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes Standard International Management, LLC’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or for any matter for which liability cannot be lawfully limited or excluded. Consumers have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described and services which are not performed with reasonable care and skill and these legal rights are in addition to and are not affected in any way by anything contained in these terms and conditions.
