I log into my Barclaycard every week just to check all is well and today have noticed a pending transaction for £0.01p on 15/04 from a company called...
Kyusyu Sigma Co Ltd - a Japanese cosmetics company
On contacting Barclaycard they tell me that this is well known fraud pre-checking the card for future use and a number of customers are seeing it. Card details apparently being stolen in bulk by hacking other corporations where the card has been used for a purchase.
If you have a Barclaycard/other card you may want to check your online account.

Does not bode well if they know of the retailer as possible fraud, but are not picking it up in their fraud system.

So could be any card from any bank, where you have purchased from one of the hacked/compromised retailers. 👍Life in the slow lane1
