UKPC McDonalds County Court Claim
Comments
-
Finally got an update for you all.
Court date was for the end of November.
Fees has to be paid by claiment by 31st Oct 4pm.
Claiment did not pay the fees.
Case has been struck out and hearing has been vacated.
Thank you to all of you who helped me get to this stage.
I am not pursuing a counter claim for expenses although I feel like sending lots of threatening letters from pretend debt collectors4 -
That is good news, but...
We have seen these cases resurrected when the Claimant claims to have paid the fee but the court has failed to record that.
Don't spend too much on celebrating, nor throw away your paperwork, just yet.3 -
You'll have to wait a while to be certain, in case in November/December the claim gets reinstated if the court has overlooked the fee payment, but let's cautiously assume you've won!Rinceward said:Finally got an update for you all.

Well done you!
ANOTHER UKPC ONE BITES THE DUST!
And we sincerely hope you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?
Hopefully - amongst all the political disruption - it will be open later this year.
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA gaslighting of people.
Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?
Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:
If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.

Good afternoon,
So, today I received a letter from QDR Solicitors titled:
Without Prejudice as save as to costs.
It has put some of the court details that were thrown out and they have said they are willing to accept a reduced balance of £217.00 to be paid in a final settlement.
Who are these jokers0 -
Counter offer a reduced balance of sweet FA pounds!2

Ask them if the vacated and struck out case has been reinstated behind your back, or are they just incapable of letting go?Rinceward said:Good afternoon,

Am I allowed to show the letter? I can redact any personal information0
-
Yes no problem so long as it's redacted.1

Hopefully you can see these. The last one is almost a compliments slip on how to pay them0 -
Looks to me like they are doing a bit of fishing in case you aren't on the ball! Quite appropriate for pond life really!1
