I sent a transfer to a friend's daughter from my Revolut account to her Revolut account but she couldn't access the funds as she's not over 18 so I resent the money via PayPal, presuming I would be able to reclaim it when I got home (I was away at the time).
Initially they kept telling me the transfer had been reverted but I could see the money hadn't been credited back to my account.
After three days, I spoke to someone else who confirmed they needed an email from the beneficiary confirming all of this, which she sent.
I've now spent nearly three months chasing this.
First I was told they would investigate and refer back to me, then I was advised they had no record of the email being received and they supposedly emailed the beneficiary directly, yet she never received an email.
The last step was them requesting she email again, which did she send yesterday, and again this is now being investigated.
Their official line is that because I authorised the payment, it's more difficult to revert it back, even though it's with the same bank.
I'm on Universal Credit and the amount owed back is £85 which is a lot of money to me.
Also, I haven't worked for three years due to my anxiety disorder and this whole situation is making me so much worse. I'm at my whit's end it it all.

Why don’t you just speak to the child’s parents and get the money back from them?
Revolut junior accounts are connected to one parent at least.0
