Morning everyone
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Still dark,- rain forecast every day this week - it's wet underfoot and has been raining during the night .
DH and DS1 getting ready for work I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and brekkie whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was LO chicken and pork from Sunday's roast, salad, jacket potato, beans, cheese, pork pie, boiled egg and coleslaw. no waste. Tonight I'm not sure what we'll be eating but will organise something.
Yesterday work wasn't too bad, I'm working at the other office today and it's my half day - I have an admin job to do when I get home this afternoon.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Such a beautiful day yesterday, the sun shone and the skies were blue. I went for a walk after work for an hour via the post office, it was just about dark when I got home! Cold and frosty again this morning.
Called in at DD's on my way home, little one was at her Granny's so we managed to have a proper chat, can't remember the last time we did that.
Nothing of note going on here, rubbish nights sleep so an early night for me tonight.
Hope you're all well, take care. XX

Morning all
Raining here again and set in for the day again. Work was manic as always yesterday with the added complication of the DW breaking down in the afternoonit was not too bad yesterday as we had done most of the washing up but today will be interesting, I shall do most things on take away plates and cups to save a bit of work, hopefully the man will come today and fix it.
Spag bol for dinner tonight dd is finishing work early to take big pup for her jab so if she gets in first she will start it off. DW to empry this morning and I will see if there is enough washing to go on.
Slow news day here so I had better get on, have good days all xxx13 -
Morning all.Despite some early rain yesterday was lovely though still very chilly. There was another spectacular sunset over Jura last night, I stood outside for ages just looking at it. That's why I need the front garden sorted out, there'll be a wee area of decking for sitting on, only a corner.
All the Branston and chocolate is wrapped 😀 I'm taking them in my backpack as I don't want them broken in my check in luggage even though my suitcase is a hard shell one. Maybe I'm being over cautious!
Ive no idea what's happening today though I'll embrace it all. Hugs and thoughts to all our poorlies. Happy Wednesday (I hope) to all. 🌺14 -
Thanks for starting NMLC.It's a grey start here, but dry. It was frosty late last night, but the frost seems to have disappeared.Yesterday went as planned, visited a friend, then in for the rest of the day unitl we went to our regular Tuesday evening quiz.I must shop today, I have no potatoes, not much bread and need a few other things. This afternoon I'll pop to DD's for an hour. And that's my day!!Hope everyone has a good day anyway, take care folks13

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. I have been MIA the last couple of days but life and the events in Ukraine took over. The news gets worse day by day and we are left feeling helpless. BELLA your son is to be admired for wanting to help but obviously this has been a huge worry for you.
I met my df yesterday as usual for a Tuesday and it took my mind off things for a few hours. Today is bus trip day but after yesterday's glorious Spring like day, today is most un-spring like. Miserable with mizzly rain.
Have a good day folks and ((HUGS)) for all in need. Take care one and all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"14 -
Morning everyone and thanks for the start nmlc.
Wet start here and due to last all day, but I will get out for a lunchtime walk if it’s not too heavy. DSis came up for lunch yesterday – was nice to see her. I had a couple of work-related calls in the afternoon and I’ve bagged myself a little IT work project, so will make a start on that today.
Dinner tonight is Kedgeree and then DH and I are going to see Cyrano at the cinema. I have washing to do and will hopefully get to it before DH engages the TD!
Hugs to all the poorlies and those feeling low. The world news is certainly depressing right now.

PS - the refillable perfume atomiser arrived yesterday, it was easy to fill so I'm delighted with it. I'll be tucking into my handbag.TA - I understand just how overwhelming the situation is, that's why I avoid the news reports. There's so much misery over which we have no control. ❤️❤️Coxy - I hope you enjoy Cyrano, it's such a different take on the story. James McAvoy awaits me in late March.13

Morning all. Yesterday wasn't too bad, met a few more people, tidied up some art stuff, sat down a lot watching. I said I'd go back next week and tidy the cupboard, I am very achy today though, a rubbish sleep again and I really could have done with a nap yesterday but it wasn't to be. Chinese round OHs mum for her birthday. she loves Chinese, she loves her son so what better combination?
Today thankfully is nothing. except get some onions, I'm all out...and I can't make anything without onions and on the way back yesterday I stopped off in the coop for something and came out with two packs of very reduced casserole steak. I put it in the freezer for now but I think I'll get some onions, because I've got potatoes and carrots, and make a stew, maybe with some chillies in it. WHo knows, the kitchen, once tidied, is my oyster...
Florence, no, I just used water, oil and yeast with 00 flour [ had some in cupboard]. I do use yoghurt and flour when I make flatbreads though. Congratulations on your promotion too, I forgot to say. Hope Mr F's leg improves..Gers, check you can take Branston in a carry on on a flight. TA, normally, I avoid the news, now, I'm reading every day, kind of a bearing witness to idiots in charge of guns and bombs and how normal people resist. Rosy, I know, I keep expecting to see it on crimewatch or having been used in a local bank robbery or something...Hope you enjoyed your day outFloss, thanks for the info, I've done it. Izzy, you go girl! Nanny, hope there were no nightmares last night..Normally my [occasional] vivid dreams are all about OH leaving me so I wake up angry with him, then feel a bit silly... Take care of yourselves this lovely day...

Morning everyone
I was tired after my few hours of work yesterday but not as exhausted as I was on Monday - so that was good. I was worried about how I felt on Monday and was wondering how I was ever going to work properly again. Going to stick to just afternoons for next week too.
Yesterday was a beautiful day here. When I got home in the afternoon I sat outside with a cup of tea and finished Sunday's paper - it was lovely.
Going to go down to mam and dads for a little while this morning.
Hope everyone has a good day . Take care x13 -
