Not sure what you mean by charging for labour? Do you mean installing ?

Ao.com have always been very reasonable in my opinion. Although I have never paid to have one installed as it’s easy to do yourself, as for disposing of. Do you have a local community Facebook group? We have a guy that collects scrap metal so takes them away for free.

I've had a couple of items from AO.com and included their installation and disposal options, with no issues.
In contrast, my last purchase from Currys was far from satisfactory; they sent me the wrong items and it took two months to get a refund - they collected the incorrect items next day and then went though a whole rigmarole of having to check whether they were returned, planning to send me the same incorrect ones again, still awaiting confirmation of the correct ones being returned, bouncing between in-house teams, not being able to put my call through to the handling team but having to send them an internal email, and so-on. I think I'll steer clear of Currys in future.

Installation is very easy to diy. I had a blip because my ancient machine was hot fed and the hot tap was stuck on, but that’s not something curry’s would sort anyway. And you can check that when you unplumb the one that’s there now.

To get rid of the old one, call a local scrap man. They’ll take it for nothing.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I just looked at Argos and for their cheapest washer (Bush) they are charging £50 for installation AND recycling. Free delivery.

John Lewis - I like to buy from them because they usually offer longer guarantees than anywhere else) - 2 year guarantee, free delivery and £45 for installation and recycling.

Are those options any good? I think they're pretty reasonable because it'd probably cost you more to get rid of the old one and also, I like to have my appliances properly installed (i.e. by anyone else and not me!)

Just have a good old google, as many of us on here are often heard saying, 'use your google hand'.    :)
