Why is my water bill averaging £100 a month?? (for 2 people)

the meter didnt change in 2 hours, didnt turn the stop tap off.
1 perosns clothes are changed there, only 1 person showers. its a small garden.
Was I just unlucky with when I checked the meter, perhaps there is an intermittent leak?!

What volumes have you been billed on?

Did you check the serial number on your meter against the one on the bill?

Two hours isn't really enough time to tell very much. Can you check daily for a week or so?

its being rented, kind of, is complicated but ill try. havnt checked volumes, but its sw water, so we are the priciest.

SW Water Bills will show the meter reads used to calculate the charges.

What are those numbers and dates (going back to when you moved in)?

Do SW bill every 6 months ?  Are the meters read remotely or do you have to give readings ?  Do the billed readings agree with your own readings ?

Is the meter in the pavement or in your house ? If the former then a) it could be the wrong meter pr b) a leak

turns out the reader of the meter made a mistake, it is leaking. every 3 months for sw-water. read remotely, yeah is in the pavement thanks.
