    It may not be equivalent.

Monday 28th Feb is last day of month, last day of month in Jan is 31st.

I'm with Lloyds and exactly the same, money appears in the morning when due not weekend before

It will appear in the early hours of Monday morning.

Barclays, where salary payments made by BACS due in on a Monday are available on the Saturday with Mondays date on them, and Monzo, where salary payments go in the afternoon before (not sure if it’s working day or day before as I haven’t had a salary paid into Monzo before) are the only 2 banks I am aware of that let the funds be available earlier than the actual day they are due.

It will be Monday the 28th.

I am due a payment that day too, or the end of the month normally. If the if the end of the month fell on a Saturday or Sunday I would get it on the Friday.

28th was a Friday last month.
  • With Starling, my BACS PAY is listed as a pending credit the day before and hits my account at midnight on pay day. When I was with the old dinosaur bank, RBS, it didn't used to hit my account until around 4 or 5am in the morning.

With dinosaur Santander, you could have spent the lot between 22:00 and 24:00 the working day before it was due.

I don't really see the point of getting access to your pay a day early as it only really works the first time. As by the next time you get paid and access it early you've waited the same amount of time.
