I have a tax bill of nearly 20k thanks to the SEISS grants I claimed in 2020, being recalled as apparently I wasn't eligible to claim..it is what it is and I now need to put together an income an expenditure list in order to work out what I can afford to pay back.(it's going to take years I think)
I am here looking to get guidance on what I can put down as expenditure..I know the obvious.ones like mortgage, utilities, car fuel ect, but what about clothing and entertainment? Does that count? What sort of amounts can I put forward for what categories..my partner doesn't work and I'm the only person bringing money in the house..no children and have cats, dogs, horses..Hope you can help.thanks.

There are no published guideline figures AFAIK. You could try posting a first draft here and we'll make comments.
I'd suggest clothing at £5 per person per week. Not sure how much you would get away with for entertainment0 -
if you Google
income_and_expenditure_details.pdf - GOV.UK
The first site will give you an HMRC form0
