I have read about 3 stopping free roaming on new contracts and have been checking my emails about the same
I recieved this email on 26/10/21
Your minimum contract period is ending on 16/11/2021. Right now, you pay £8.00 a month† for a plan with 12GB of data, Go Roam, Unlimited texts and Unlimited minutes.
And on average you’ve used 2.8GB data over the past 3 months.
You have some choices
It’s important that you are on the right plan for you. You can choose a new contract with us - we’ve listed some options below. You can also find other offers on our website.
If you decide to do nothing, your services will carry on and you will continue to pay £8.00 a month†. Or you could get a new customer deal with another provider.
If you would like to cancel your service or change provider, please call 333 or visit our website here and choose ‘chat online’. You can do this without incurring an early termination charge. Further information is available at three.co.uk/EOCFAQ

Unfortunately I had a message at the end of the year basically saying that they were giving me one month's notice of the current agreement ending and I could either go onto their new terms (which excluded free roaming) or leave. You can expect to get a similar message in due course but I would hold on until you do.
I switched to O2 to retain EU roaming and I also benefit from a free weekly coffee from Caffe Nero (plus Greggs offers) which more than cover my monthly £6 O2 contract.
