in Cutting tax
Hi all,
I'm currently employed, so pay income tax through PAYE. I have this year received a dividend which is over the tax-free 2k amount. As such I need to pay the appropriate tax but do not need to fill out self-assessment forms as my income is already taxed elsewhere. Is it as easy as contacting HMIC to change my tax code and if I wished can I just pay the tax as a lump sum, if so when would this be due..?
Many thanks in advance...
