Has anyone tried to get a refund of the credit off their paygo phone??  I have always paid as required in a supermarket, etc, not by DD.  My SIM is finishing tomorrow and yet i cannot get through anyway I've tried to Virgin to get a refund.  Has anyone had any sucess in doing this, please?  Will I lose the £18 that is still on my phone?  I'm going to ASDAs for a sim, I think!

Have you requested the PAC code for your number? Might lose that as well as your 18 quid.

Not seen any refunds on here as T&C usually say you lose it .

To get a refund you need call 789 9:00-18:00 (or 0345 6000 789 chargeable), but you need to have registered the sim with your details, so that a refund can be made and a PAC requested at the same time. Not sure what might happen if PAC already requested.

Thanks for the link.  I have registered the SIM and Virgin now say I have until the 19th!  I will endeavour to call the Customer Services number again - cant wait to be on hold for another 40 minutes with no result!!  Hey, ho...
