VM contract ending soon

Hi forumites,
My current 18 month fiber broadband contract (100Mbps with Virgin Media) comes to an end next month. I currently pay £24 per month and then it increases to £44. While it's a decent service, it's not an extra £20 better and there seems to be plenty of competition running over Openreach lines. But if I change to one of these providers I'll have to mess with relocating network cabling which I want to avoid.
Is anyone out there having success in blagging a rollover price from VM?

The VM and Openreach sockets are on opposite sides of the room and I'd have to relay some ethernet cables which run to hardwired devices
