Correct , your N180 DQ posted out by the CCBC ( not the claimant ) will contain it's own deadline date on the letter , this could be in several weeks time , so no deadline for it , yet. So keep an eye on MCOL on your claim history every week in the new year
The deadline date is sometimes included on the Notice of Proposed Allocation to the Small Claims Track - N149A.

I've just not received a copy of the DQ through post - so this makes more sense now thank you. I was wondering in box B for my contact details can I put my Swedish address (where I am now living) or my parents UK address (which is where the correspondence has been to so far)?

I also dont know how it will work when I get my court hearing. I do not want to fly back to the UK to defend a £250 parking fine (it will cost me that much to get there and back!). Ideally I would have a virtual hearing - but im not sure how to go about that does anyone have any advice? Can I request this in section D, "Hearing venue?"

Failing that I might request it be read on the papers, but again im not sure how to do that

You do NOT want a hearing on papers, you will lose!  Are you permanently in Sweden?  If so you could advise the PPC of this and they may drop it.

Yes I permanently live in Sweden, but im not sure they will stop now since we are at the stage of the DQ, unless there is some legal implication?

It might be too late in the process but normally for persons not resident in UK, it could be out of jurisdiction.  Try an e-mail to the DPO of the parking company giving a new address for service with proof of permanent residency and ask them to ERASE your old data.  You would have to inform the CCBC of your new address and tell them you want the hearing in a Swedish court!  Given that a lot of hearings are by phone/video these days, it might not make any difference to them.  What you don't want is to be faced with an expensive trip back to UK if they decide a F2F hearing is appropriate.

I called Nottingham CCBC and they said if I put my Swedish address in the box in the DQ form I should be able to get a telephone or Zoom hearing. I can also send my DQ digitally to CCBCAQ@justice.gov.uk which I wasn't aware of!

Do you think I could mention it in a mediation and they might drop it? Or just go straight to court? Going to court is obviously more effort so if I can avoid it that would be great

    Surprised you didn't realise that.

That list you were following when you filed your Defence includes...
Items 8 and 10 on that list are well worth looking at again while you complete your Directions Questionnaire.
