Mobile number deleted

I had two sims with Virgin. one for me and one for my wife. When my wife passed away this year, I asked them to cancel my wifes sim and number. This was in July. unaware they contiuned to charge me for that sim even when they had confirmed it would be cancelled. (Bear with me it is a bit of a long story). Anyway on the 30th Nov I called them from my mobile to ask them what was going on and they said we will sort it, and promptly deactivated my phone number not my wifes. so I got cut off. I have no mobile number so can't ring them back. went online to chat on the same day 30th Nov. they would get it sorted it would take 3 to 5 days but my own number would be activated and my wifes would be deactivated. Well today guess what they activated my wifes old number that is no use to me. once again a conversation with virgin. they were sorry they would get it sorted but would take 13 days. Wow I am gob smacked as the earlier agent had said 24 hours. Asked to speak to a UK supervisor. none avialable perhaps in two hours. Made a complaint. So at a loss on what to do. My number has been with me for a number years and I use it for my work also. They are just messing me about I don't think I will get my number now. NEVER AGAIN VIRGIN!!!
