Hi all,
Bought small electrical item (battery powered) on eBay in September. Now, item broke after 2 months. Ebay says, I have 30 days protection and after that zero. That's their company policy. How about law in this country? Am I protected for longer for items bought online?
Seller is a china based business seller, I paid via debit card directly to eBay Payments. Seller is not interested at all, closed my return case, and ebay says 30 days gone, goodbye warranty and any protections.
What are my consumer rights on this one?
Thanks.

Pretty much that's it. Wonder if I can challenge payment to eBay via debit card issuer.
eBay will say they are only a marketplace providing a service.
Do you have a UK address for the seller in order to return the goods?
It’s a difficult balance for eBay regarding timeframes for such claims but equally frustrating if some breaks so soon after purchasing.
