Credit balance with Green Supplier Ltd. - who owes me the money?
Hello all,
I was in process of transfer to EDF when my old supplier (Green) went bust oweing me £200.
The transfer went through and I am now a happy EDF customer, but who owes me the credit - Green (under liquidation), EDF or the supplier of last resort appointment by OFGEM (Shell)?
How would I get my credit refunded from Shell considering that I don't have a customer account with them?
Best Regards,
Chris

From Shell. Probably by cheque, going by my similar experience with Yorkshire Energy/Scottish Power, a year or so ago. It'll probably be several months, with the huge volume of SoLR transfers at the moment.0

I was told by Shell customer services that they have to create a "dummy" account to refund you even if they are not actually supplying you
