Boiler insurance without direct debit
Hello
I am looking to take out boiler insurance however every company i check online only seems to offer boiler insurance via direct debit. This is not possible with my bank account. Can anyone suggest a boiler insurance provider where i can pay an annual fee using my debit or credit card. I can afford up to £225

Maybe try a local to you smaller heating company. I know round here there are some & bubg in the annual check up as well, no idea of cost thoughBut for that sum self insurance surely must be an option? My biggest bill in last 15 years was just over £300 to replace the PCBThis year I have worn ignition electrodes, £35 + £55 for fitting but not urgentWhen an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray1

About 2 weeks ago i was worried that the boiler wasnt starting luckily i got it fixed myself but the charges for a repair person were around £50 for 30mins and when i read some of the reviews online you cant always guarantee that the repair person will be competent enough to do the job . This is why i wanted to take out specific boiler insurance but im amazed that it has to be paid by direct debit and i cant do a one off annual paymentFarway said:Maybe try a local to you smaller heating company. Most insurance is a waste of money. Just put some money aside.

Do you have a friend that you trust who could make the DD payments for you if you were to pay them the amount monthly?Tumtitums said:HelloI am looking to take out boiler insurance however every company i check online only seems to offer boiler insurance via direct debit. Yes, the only insurance i have is motor, because it's compulsory, and as you say, fully comp is cheaper, at least for old gimmers.I will have to be all grown up and get house insurance, soon, as I've been renting for a while, but £90-odd to insure about £250k seems like a bargain, in comparison.0
