Hi all, very confused and looking for advice.
I was in mid switch from Avro to Green on a duel fuel deal when both firms went bust. I suspect that one fuel had been moved but not the other when the axe fell as I am now subject to two direct debits. Avro takes £64/mth which was my old deal and now Green also takes £88/mth which was the new deal, yet neither firm exists any longer.
I did receive an email from Octopus (Avro) but can no longer find it because some idiot (me) probably trashed it, I've heard nothing from Shell who have taken on Green customers.
So the current position seems to be this, I used to have a dual fuel deal but am now being supplied by two separate suppliers who both charge the dual fuel amount under the names of companies which no longer trade.
Do I just ride it out and hope any credit balances come back as promised, or do I cancel both direct debits and see who screams loudest?

Thanks Gerry1, gas is now with Shell so must be the one that moved to Green, meaning electric must still have been with Avro and will now be Octopus.
Still annoying though that both are taking the agreed price for dual fuel when they must realise that they only provide one.0 -
It depends if you can afford it. If you can then you may want to leave it as is to sort itself out. If you can't afford it, cancel either one or both direct debits.0
