Thanks everyone, your comments have really helped make a decision. We are going to stick with SP and extend to 2023 now. Thanks again0

I'm with Scottish Power, fix is ending on 31/12, their new fixed plans are double what I've being paying, is there a capped unit and standing charge rate if I switch to a variable plan? All I can see is an average use money cap value (£1277) but not a capped unit rate to work out what it would cost me.0

Many thanks, got it the figures are 20.2 for elec 3.95 for gas 26p standing charge, better than the fixed options but still a huge increase, guess I haven't got much of a choice for now other than to drop onto this and see how things goQrizB said:XX44HAM44XX said:I'm with Scottish Power, fix is ending on 31/12, their new fixed plans are double what I've being paying, is there a capped unit and standing charge rate if I switch to a variable plan? A rough calculation shows I'll be paying just over 50% more than my current fix by dropping onto SP's standard rate, currently paying 13.3 (elec) and 2.2 (gas) with 21p daily charge, was good while it lasted :'(0
