Cracks on ceiling wall

Noticed a crack in the room midway in the ceiling. Image attached. I know the room has a high moisture level as theres' mould in a corner/cracks near the window ( which are being rectified though a dehumidifier/ repainting)

Is it serious or should I leave it and keep an eye? I can see a line running across the full ceiling faintly that's been painted over and no cracks visible but you can tell if you look closely that's it been painted over.

Fist floor victorian conversion.

If it's a plasterboard ceiling, then straight cracks are completely normal.  As the boards expand and contract with changing temperature, hairline cracks appear between them.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
