What can I do In this situation what my options are ?
Thank you0 -
Unfortunately this is what comes of just cancelling the DD and hoping that will sort the problem, it doesn't.
You should have made an official complaint to talk talk, and followed there complaints procedure, whilst continuing to pay the bills, it irks I know, but bad service does not automatically release you from a contract, that is why these companies have a complaints process.
Your complaint would most likely have been found in your favour, and suitable redress paid to you, instead, you now have a CCJ which you can only remove by applying for a set aside motion, at a cost of £255.00.
You would then be back to square one, and have to go through the entire complaints process again, all very messy and expensive.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Hi sourcrates,
You may want to clarify to them (sorry i'm unclear with CCJ's at a wrong address) - do they have a CCJ at Davey29uk, 123 Dave29uk's street, somewhere ville? Or does a non-existant davy29uk, of flat b, 125 Dave29uk's street have a CCJ?
It doesnt sound like its an old address, rather an incorrect one?Peter

Just to add, companies are not obliged to incur unreasonable costs in tracing absconded debtors and for this sort of sum, minimal effort has likely been expended.0
