House Purchase by Trust and Stamp Duty

Looking for advice on whether Does Stamp Duty has to be paid on a house purchase by a Trust, and if so at what rate please?

    Yes. The rate depends on whether it is the trustees of the trust or the beneficiaries under the trust who are the purchasers but also who, following the purchase, are regarded as the owner of the purchased property.
