We are FTB. We had a call Friday eve from our broker to say they are happy with everything and will let us know when they issue an offer. We haven’t heard anything yet so I was just wondering if anyone has gotten a mortgage with pepper money and how long did it take to receive your offer in the post? Thanks.

We applied for a mortgage with Pepper in May as we have some historic adverse credit (older than 48 months). We were looking for 80% LTV. From submitting the application to receiving the offer was 5 and a half weeks. Unfortunately our house purchase and sale fell through. We got ourselves back and track and put in another application 5 weeks ago. Despite us putting a 40% deposit forward, Pepper seem to be putting us through extra scrutiny this time as they are asking for documentation that they didn’t ask for last time. It honestly feels like they they don’t trust us at all. They claim to look at people individually but by asking for documentation after documentation, it seems like a never ending treadmill with no end in sight. 5 weeks in and as far as I know we are no where near a valuation yet. Even our broker cannot fathom their change in approach to us. Sorry I can’t be more help!!!0
