All tickets also come with a few pints of cold Carling to keep you and your mate suitably refreshed during the gig so make sure you log-in or register now for your chance to win a pair of tickets.
Formed in the late 90's in the Chicago suburb of Villa Park, Illinois, Plain White T's spent their formative years steadily growing their fanbase touring relentlessly while releasing early albums 'Come On Over' and 'Stop' to critical acclaim. By 2004 the band had been through several personnel changes with founder members frontman Tom Higgenson and guitarist Dave Tirio remaining from the initial line-up and Mike Retondo (bass and vocals), De'Mar Hamilton (drums) and Tim Lopez (guitar, vocals) joining to complete the now five-piece outfit. With the new line-up in place, the band rapidly progressed their songwriting and performance skills with their third album 'All That We Needed' taking the band on to the next level. However it was 2006's album 'Every Second Counts' that spawned the monsterous single 'Hey There Delilah' which took the band to the top of the US charts for 2 weeks this summer as well as scoring a no.1 in Canada and Germany and a top five hit in the UK, Austria, Ireland, Belgium and Australia.

Plain White T's - Carling Gig Giveaway Competition
1. This promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over except employees and their families of Coors Brewers Ltd and its agencies who are precluded from entry.
2. No purchase necessary. To enter, log onto https://www.carling.com or send your name, address, contact telephone number, date of birth and your preferred venue/gig to Plain White T's - Carling Gig Giveaway Competition, Carling.com, Coors Brewers Ltd, Trent House, 137 High Street, Burton on Trent, DE14 1JZ.
3. Entries must not be sent through agents or third parties, any such entries will be invalid.
4. Final date for receipt of entries is 9am, Friday 21st December. The winners will be selected at random by an independent person by midday, Friday 21st December.
5. The prize fund consists of 5 x pairs of tickets to Plain White T's at Carling Academy Newcastle (Jan 23rd), 5 x pairs of tickets to Plain White T's at Carling Academy Birmingham (Jan 18th), 5 x pairs of tickets to Plain White T's at Carling Academy Bristol (Jan 28th) and 5 x pairs of tickets to Plain White T's at Shepherds Bush Empire (Jan 30th) - all tickets include 3 pints of Carling or 3 soft drinks before the band's performance. 20 x winners will win a pair of tickets. There is no cash alternative to the prize.
6. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and entry into the promotion is deemed to signify acceptance of these terms and conditions.
7. The promoter can accept no responsibility for, and reserves the right to refuse, entries which are corrupt, incomplete, lost or damaged or fail to arrive by the closing date.
8. If any circumstances out of the promoter's control mean that the prize advertised is not available, the promoter will provide a prize of equivalent value.
9. The promoter's decision is binding in all matters.
10. The prize winners will be contacted by telephone by 6pm, Friday 21st December. All prizes must be claimed within 48 hours of the winner being notified otherwise the right to claim the prize will be lost.
11. The winner's name will be available by writing to Plain White T's - Carling Gig Giveaway Competition, Carling.com, Coors Brewers Ltd, Trent House, 137 High Street, Burton on Trent, DE14 1JZ after the closing date for 28 days.
12. The winner may be requested to take part in publicity.
13. It is not the intention of the promoter to use this promotion in any way to encourage excessive consumption of alcohol. Coors Brewers is a member of the Portman Group - promoting responsible drinking.
14. These rules are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
