    Builder confirmed its CT1 glue - is this good enough? He doesn't want to start screwing through the GPR roof and cause leaks in the future apparently

    CT1 is high end silicone however your building inspector will not sign your roof off if he doesn’t see straps holding the wall plate down, no need to screw wall plate to roof.
    Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'
