Afternoon All
Busy morning for me. Realised I only had about 30 miles left in the tank so went for fuel, first filling station was out of unleaded but got some at the next one which was really busy. I felt really sorry for the young girl in the kisok, on her own and busier than usual.
Next stop was a swim in the loch - 15.2 degrees this morning, it was really quite cold. I managed to stand in a big pile of dog's do at the boot of the car so spent ages scraping my foot along the grass before I went on the sand. Came back to the car to find I had parked on a double yellow line so got a parking ticket. A very eventful Saturday so far.
I've ordered new interlinked smoke and heat alarms, all houses have to have them in Scotland by next February, they should be dispatched mid October and DS1 can fit them. May go to Dunelm later as I saw a pair of curtains I like on their website but want to go and have a look and feel of them.
DS2 put up a picture on our group chat of his partner sat on their new toilet (fully clothed!), only problem is it's too high and her feet are dangling! I actually laughed out loud, such a schoolboy error by his builders.
Enjoy meeting up with your family Gers.
Hope your little DGD manages ok dp1.
Have a good Saturday, take care. XX

Good afternoon
Damp and drizzly here, but I have been for a 6 mile walk, really enjoyed looking at the hedgerows and connecting with nature, felt a lot happier when I got in.
So then I hoovered through downstairs and steam cleaned all the floors, just waiting for then to dry before I take my hoover up to my Mothers, it's a GT3ch and she wants to try it out before she buys one as she has a cylinder cleaner that's getting too heavy for her.
Need to give the bathroom a good clean, it's a downstairs one and the cats use the window to get in and out during the day, however after it's rained the wash basin gets very mucky with wet paw prints
Have a good day x9 -
Another lovely day here in Ramsgate.
Thanet has been named 'the sunshine capital of the UK' by the Met Office. Data shows Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs notched up more than 720 hours of bright skies on average last year, more than anywhere else in the country. Hastings, Folkestone and Hythe followed closely behind according to the data.
