I don't understand your problem - you state very clearly that you'd given the items in question to your mother; either you'd given them, or you hadn't. If, on the contrary, you'd merely passed them to her for sale on your behalf, then I suggest you sit down with her and go through the sold items one by one, tot their proceeds up and deduct her fuel and other costs, but not her time as that's irrelevant. What's left is yours, not hers, and your mother should pay you that amount. Best of luck.

Is this meant to be a reply to a thread?

Why have you posted this as a separate thread and not on the original thread????

Some people confuse the 'Create Post' at the top of the page with the 'Post Comment' at the bottom of the thread.
    crmism always does it.
It would be worth the Mods changing the 'Create Post' button to say something like 'Create New Thread' to remove the confusion.

Oh!  I'd never noticed before but on mobile it's at the bottom of the page where one woukd exoect to reply to the thread.  Very very confusing - I thought the title field would make it more obvious but it says 'discussion title' which doesn't exactly make clear that it's an entirely new thread.  Definitely needs to be changed, and ideally moved too, especially on mobile.

I was in Bates motel territory from the title of the thread.
    Nothing so interesting, sadly.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I have reported this issue with threads starting rather than replying, and rather than merge this thread will close it as I used it as an example when I reported.
