Now that Avro have ceased trading, ofgem recommend staying until they appoint a new company to take over.
At that point, the new tariff will likely be more expensive - but what price am i paying now, in this limbo period between companies?
The Avro price i signed up to? or maybe some General Price that's set for this scenario?

You'll pay your current rate until the day after (usually) Ofgem appoint your SoLR. This is usually about 4 working days after the cease trading announcement.2

"usually" there arent lots of companies needing SOLR, however ofgem will be swamped so it might take a little longer. I also imagine the bigger companies are not throwing a huge amount of resource at answering calls from ofgem :-D0
