Cancelled flight and match tickets

Hi, My question is I had flight booked for the USA and 2 tickets for the NFL. my flight was cancelled by the airline and got my money back. Can I also claim on my credit card for the tickets as due to the flight been cancelled I can now no longer go.

No. You only have the same rights against the card as the retailer, and the match is still going ahead.0

Thanks that what I thought. The game is still going ahead. I can still get another flight if they will let us in to the USA.0
