DCB legal letter of claim

Just received DCB Legal letter of claim for 150 (PCN and debt recovery according to them) for overstaying ticket. History: PCN dates from 2016. Don't recall what we did when and if received first ticket. Vaguely think I appealed as per this thread, but honestly can't remember. DCB recommenced sending letters to old address last year. Luckily got passed on (ha ha) Car no longer ours. Have received several letters from DCB giving 14 days. In response sent SAR to UK PLC. They responded with photos - none showing ticket on actual car with number plate in view. Signage in v small font, impossible to read from car. Have tried complaining to retail park but no one to complain to and parking ownership has changed hands. Have not yet complained to MP - is it too late? What do I do now? Do I send letter saying seeking debt advice (not sure how I missed that one in thread btw) to DCB legal? Know I have to respond so any help most welcome. And many apologies if the answer is out there somewhere already. This is the third pain in the neck today, so feeling slightly jaded and fed up, so go gently with me please

You can send the seeking debt advice, put proceedings on hold letter at LBC stage, but not once the claim form has arrived.
It is never too late to complain to your MP, or the landowner (at the time of the alleged event).
Follow the guide to court written by bargepole that you will find in the second post of the NEWBIES.
Use google street view to see if there are any historic photos before and after the alleged event that may help.
Send the PPC a correction notification to their DPO, instructing them to erase your old data and replace it with your new address for service.

Who is the parking company?
You mention 'UK PLC' but that can't be right.
Perhaps this is related to your earlier, now closed, thread - UKPC final reminder - help please
If so, please ask a Board Guide to merge your two threads.

Oh my - really grateful you found my thread. Had completely forgotten about the angst of 2016. Unfortunately can't find any response to my appeal at all or remember what happened in 2016. So now I need to follow the court procedure as detailed above. And write to my MP. Really don't need this. But so grateful for all the info and advice. Many many thanks.0

Yes but you will be sending the PPC a SAR as well as an address data rectification, so you will get a copy of all letters and your appeal to remind you.
Can you add paragraph breaks to your first post as I gave up reading it due to it being a wall of text and me due to have eye surgery, not a good post for me to read!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
