Court claim form- DCB legal ltd

Hi
I had a private parking charge issued in October 2016 for leaving the car park site. ( the attendant watched me and with 10 minutes had issued a charge )
I had several letters over the years from different companies last in December 2017 ( letter of claim from BW legal ) until a Letter of Claim in July 2021 from DCBlegal and thinking it was another scare letter ignored it.
Now have a Northampton Court claim form which I have acknowledged.
Requested a SAR from vehicle control services and DCBL.
I need to now write a defence. The ones on the forum are all confusing and very legal !! Do I do one of the now or is that later if I go to court.
I'm very stressed with it all and do not want it to go that far
1. What defence do I need to write at this stage ?
2. Once sent will DCBL negotiate a lower charge ?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

What do you mean the ones (plural) on the forum? There is just one template defence for non-ParkingEye cases and all I’ve left newbies to write is the facts about their case...
Which would NOT be that you left the site...it would be stating that there is no evidence produced by the Claimant that the driver left the site and nor does the signage even state what boundary constitutes ‘the site’. The Claimant is put to strict proof.
No idea why you want to ‘negotiate a lower charge’ for a PCN with no evidence of any breach. Not happening and you are defending in full.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

1) the defence template by coupon mad
2) no , dcb legal will do what VCS , their client , tell them to do , which is go for gold
Email a SAR to the DPO at VCS attaching a copy of the claim form as proof of I D under the GDPR law to obtain all your data
Post the issue date from the CCBC claim form below , plus the date that the AOS online was done , your MCOL claim history will have both3 -
The leaving site scam is an add on ruse that scum bags use to try to extend their portfolio of tactics to trap victims into paying their ridiculous charges, it is rare for them to get any where. They won't negotiate a lower charge they are greedy muppets, you should follow the advice on here there is nothing to get worried or stressed about these are low end chancers.4

Leaving site is almOSt impossible to prove and the parking weasel should have warned you of the consequences of doing so. Be sure to call him/her as a wirness if this goes to court.
Also, it may fall foul of the unfair terms and conditions provision of the CRE 2015.

Have you complained to your MP?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
I wasnt aware the shops on one side of the road were a different site since they all are advertised as the same retail park. I havent contacted my MP, its 5years ago now and I'm running out of time for writing the defence.

The PCN had the contravention as AO hand written - walked off premises but when the letters came in and on the court claim it is 81 - parked in a restricted area, will this be useful for my defence too ?0
