Cheap resorts in Greece?

Which islands or area would be the best to look for a half-board resort (so not just a swimming pool and a few apartments, but somewhere suitable for teenagers) with decent food (i.e. I don't want frozen pizza and chips, but simple local food that is well cooked) at the most affordable price?

I'd ask your question on the Greece board of Tripadvisor.

May be a good idea to explain what you mean by 'the most affordable price'.

Just curious - why half board?
I'd be concerned that by having half board, you wouldn't get 'simple local food.
We always go self-catering but I don't cook anything at all.
