Is 1 month for vendors solicitors to not respond too long?

Hi
Am FTB and buying from vendor who has no chain.
My solicitor sent queries around draft contract pack on 3rd August and still not got response.
Is this too long wait or is 1 month normal timing?

I'd already be speaking to agent. By now you should be applying for mortgage and getting survey booked.1

It does seem a long time but does depend on the complexity of the enquiries. Are you confident it is chain free as that can sometimes delay responses if the vendor is trying to find their onward purchase?0

@m0bov
Yup searches are done and valuation is booked for next week. Had to apply for 2nd mortgage as valuation by Legal and general and Barclays ended up being dead end as they under valued by 55k and did not let me dispute it.
@WorriedKirkels The vendor is a investor so no chain for sure. The queries were mainly around the land registry title plans and missing Property Information form, Fittings & Contents form and Leasehold Information form;0 -
That's not slow to responding to inquiries - that's not providing basic starting info....
I'd be on the blower to the EA first thing on Monday morning.0 -

They are having issues getting management pack also. Been 4 weeks for that.0 -

A month is not excessive especially in prime holiday season but it is long enough for a progress report or for you to chase for such.0

@warby68 yeah there is no progress they keep saying they keep chasing management agent but getting no response as its a new management company that formed when the development was completed last year!
I chase every week haha this weeks update is they found phone number to call them to ask them to send the pack asap.
I get that once they have the pack there will be queries etc but getting the pack should not be this much effort really.0 -

What's you plan if next week's valuation provides another realistic £55k under offered price?0
