Hi
Wondering if anyone can please advice, my husband and myself have been on universal credit since Apr 2020, due to submitting sick notes for my self I had an assessment and received notification in July 21 that I’m now under the “lwrca” my husband has started back to work and are payments will be stopping, my question being do I need to close the claim down or will they do it automatically. Never been on this situation before.

You do not need to close a UC claim. It will adjust automatically. If your husband’s earnings mean there is no entitlement then you will not be paid.
Because you have LCWRA your monthly entitlement will have increased by £343.63/month.
Have you received arrears of LCWRA element to four months after you reported your health condition?
Because you have LCWRA a Work Allowance will be applied to the claim. This means that some of your husband’s earnings will be disregarded (£293 if your claim includes help with rent, £515 if it doesn’t). Above this there will be a deduction of 63% of the wages.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -
There may be some back payments due to you as you have now been assessed as in the LCWRA group. Generally payments are due from 14 weeks months after you submitted fit notes.
I wouldn't advise closing the claim. UC will calculate the next assessment period taking into account your husband's earnings. If those earnings result in a nil award of Universal Credit at the end of the assessment period, then UC will close the claim (and you will need to make a reclaim, if eligible in the future).
EDIT: Cross posted with calcotti.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.1 -

In April - was that in your March/April AP or April/May AP? Or was it the very start of your claim?0

The reason I asked which Assessment Period it was - March/April or April/May - is that will affect when you're supposed to get your first LCWRA payment. If Mar/Apr then your first payment should have been in August's UC, if it was in the Apr/May then it'll be in September's.
So when exactly in April you submitted your fit note determines whether you should have had your first LCWRA payment yet or not.0 -
My 1st sick not was submitted 30th April0
