davidrpj1 used to post these comps. I've searched and can't find the current one posted. Apologies if I've missed it, or to David if he was about to do so. I copied the info from his last post. It all applies for the new season.

Predict the score in all 6 games and time of the 1st goal (0-90) to be in with a chance of winning the top prize (£250,000 but will go to £2m if more than two million enter). If no one predicts all 6 correctly, there will be a consolation cash prize for the player who scores the most points.

If you're not sure what to predict, you can click 'Stats' underneath each game for some help to see which way people expect the game to go.

When you have entered your predictions, click on Challenge Jeff and if you beat his score, you will be in with a chance of winning £500.

davidrpj1 hasn't posted these since Feb 2020 and hasn't logged in since Nov 2020.
They were the taken over by someone who is now a Deleted User, who posted until Oct 2020.
In Nov 2020, Grannybiker started posting them but stopped in Feb 2021 in frustration at the Search problems,
GB handed over to @sarahm1234 who has done them up to April this year when, I am guessing, they stopped for the close season.
Perhaps sarahm1234 is not aware that they have started again.

Isn't the new search wonderful (or perhaps will be when the bugs are sorted)

Are we still using the old MSE "league"? Do we want a new league? Happy to set that up if we do.

mummydinosaur tbh I never joined in with the league, but it does sound nice. I'll leave it to you and others to decide on that. And thank you for offering.

Just to add that I am happy to post this comp when I think of it and see it's not here, but I might be a bit hit and miss with that. If anyone wants to take it on regularly, feel free - perhaps message me to let me know I'm off the hook?

Old league still being used. I noticed davidpj1 still active on it last season where he didn't do very well, and active on this season where he is doing better.

The only reason for suggesting a new league is I wondered if the original league is a bit outdated now if players have moved on to pastures new or stopped taking part. If there's plenty of people still involved then we might as well stick with the old one.
