Mosaic tile specialists

Can anyone recommend any tile supplier than specialises in mosaics? I'm looking for multi-coloured, bright and glassy as opposed to painted or irridescent. The nearest I can find is actually from B&Q but I was looking for something with more colours (including green) and far less dingy:

Ibiza Multicolour Handmade effect Glass Mosaic tile L300mm W300mm DIY at BampQ

I've been through all the usual chains plus local specialists plus umpteen Google searches but am not finding what I want, its all more of the same. I just can't spend another evening on a fruitless search. Suggestions?

    Bisazza.

I had their entire sample book at one point.

It's hard when you're looking for something very specific though.  Mosaics aren't hugely popular st the moment either, so they're likely to be more scarce.

Is that the B&Q sample?  It's very nice.

  • Thanks Doozer. Bisazza has some lovely tiles but not quite what I want, which is jewel-like rather than dark.

Al-Murad have pages of mosaic tiles.  Have used them many times.  Good company to deal with

Been there several times but they don't have what I'm after. I find some of their more ostentatious designs pretty dated in fact.

Thank you! Getting closer but still not there - p33 is the closest to what I'm looking for colourwise (fishscales are just not me!). Which is just as well because unless I take a flight from Southend to Exeter its means a 450 mile round trip on the road :D

The closer I get the better because I'm sure P'Interest will throw something interesting up as a result of my recent saves.

Original Style will have stockists up and down the country.  They have a nice discount outlet at Exeter though, iirc.

  • They have a number in near reach....but I have already spent enough fruitless Saturday hours at them in my quest for perfection :(

The trouble with going out looking for something specific is maybe no one makes it! Better to go out with only a vague idea of what you want and something may catch your eye.

Having said that, once you get an idea in your head it's hard to let it go!
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
  • Still stuck and getting desperate now as the tiling's not far off and I'm not finding anything that I love. What is putting me off the B&Q ones is having been instore, each and every one of the packs available were imperfect (scratched in some way).

    Any further ideas?
