One issue which I haven't seen addressed is that banks and other businesses should ensure that it is possible to use the same contact method to "undo" an action as was initially used to do it. In other words, for example, if a savings account was opened online then it should be able to be closed online - you shouldn't have to go into a branch. This can also be relevant to people with physical disabilities.

Many people with mental health issues find it difficult, if not impossible, to use certain contact methods (some people can't easily use the phone, say) and if they open an account they can become trapped if closing the account is done in a different way. I hope I'm explaining this clearly!
