TA - happy birthday to your DS.Taff - hope you're not too bruised! My breakfast was really lovely, only interrupted by a phone call from the NHS uplift team to say that they could come this morning to collect all the equipment. I got back here about 10 minutes before the two chaps came. They dismantled the bed and removed all the other equipment too. I'll miss the perching stool in the bathroom!I'll go through more paperwork later, so far there is a huge pile to be shredded with more to come. DM may have simplified her financial affairs but kept every piece of paper which passed through her hands about other things.9

Oh dear Taff that sounds painful, Nanny I am also a paid up member of the Clumsy Clara Club too.
Much as I loved yesterday's sightseeing/walking/gardening exploits I am totally zapped of energy today. I walked into town to collect book from library, some new Breton tops from Crew and Co and a few basics from the health food shop, picked up a courgette plant and some eye wateringly bright Marigolds on the way back.
Gers great that you enjoyed breakfast and the company, lovely surprise re the borrowed equipment, close shave getting back in time.
SM delivery came half way through allocated hour, all cleaned and put away, GF ready made pizza and salad for tea, so not much effort needed there, ought to try and concoct a cake to make better use of the oven, will see if I pick up a little after a rest. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Up earlier than usual - had a mad clean around in house. Been out for air and exercise.
Working on a crochet scarf - never made one before. I have still to do 4/5 more rounds on adult poncho which isn't urgent as for camping in 2022.
Feel like starting another crochet project.
Lovely day here.
Mr F has been on neighbour's fish feeding duty this morning.
Think I will get the ironing done while I have some energy left.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Afternoon everyone
Just had a lazy half hour on my bed with my laptop as I came back from work with a headache - been rather a loud day today!
Gers pleased you enjoyed your breakfast out - I haven't eaten out since places re-opened but plan to next week when I'm off for half term. First will be a breakfast in a lovely little cafe in town. Perhaps lunch one day too...
I'm going to make a fry up for my tea, as I really fancy one. Then I'm going to have a nice early bath and maybes a chat with DD while I'm in there.
Little one is fine now - her rash has gone already. The doctor said she would have been infectious before the spots appeared....hopefully none of the other children at nursery caught it.
Better go as I have a couple of jobs to do before I make tea10 -
Gers, good to know that you had an enjoyable lunch out.
Nothing much going on here.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back8
