That's hilarious - shared with a few people currently viewing houses.

My friend was recently told she didn't need to see the garden before making an offer because the EA couldn't find the back door key. My friend was quite relaxed and happy to come back another time, but his attitude made her decide not to bother.

Laugh out load funny! Many viewings I’ve had seem to be with a person from estate agents who just has the keys (if your lucky) but can never answer any questions!

Haha! I swear I Literally met the female version 2 days ago! She couldn’t find the keys, then only had the back doors and suggested we use the third bedroom for wardrobes as all 3 bedrooms were too small for anything except a small double... fun. X

One of the agents who valued my property actually did comment on how slim I was - I was gobsmacked.  I wanted to say we are not living in the f 70's you t, but decided that declining to do business with him was the politest way to respond.

That's really creepy.  Perhaps he was an reconstituted late middle aged man?

He was definitely middle aged, but I am not sure that is an excuse.  The other thing he did when he arrived was let me know that he 'wasn't going to wear a mask' in my house. 🤦🤷🤦I think he had problems understanding the concept of boundaries.
