Working from home tax credit

Due to various circumstances (not Covid related) I have been asked to work from home by my employer at various times during April.  Can I still claim back the working from home tax credit or is that specifically for Covid incidents?

    You can claim the £312 tax allowance from HMRC.

    Btw -  the cutting tax board rather than the benefits board is the place to post this question.
