Driving test failure

I took my driving test yesterday and failed... I was wondering if the examiner was right in failing me as I was doing 27 mph, as both the satnav and car said it was 30mph, but the examiner told me to slow down as she believed it was 20? She also didn’t make me do an emergency stop which I thought was mandatory? Can anyone spare some advice in what to do now as the next available tests are in October...

Did the examiner see a road sign stating a 20 limit that you missed?Jenni x3

..........No, I was looking everywhere even on the road, there was nothing that I should slow down for either; cars on both sides of the road etc?0 -

What did the signage say? That's the bit that actually matters.5 -
Can you get someone to take you down the section of road(s) in question & seek out signage?2

You've posted that as though you've quoted your OP ... what you've quoted is not there. 🙄JamesGG123 said:

If it was speed, go to the road where you think it was a 30 zone to confirm and then go to the test centre and point out the problem.

Emergency stop is not mandatory.

If the Examiner had to tell you to slow down that would be a failure under ETA ( Examiner took Action ) V (verbally). What was marked on your report ?1

Some areas especially near schools can reduce to 20mph around 9am and 3pm could this explain the difference of opinions?Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
