Hi,
I hope someone can help me with this please...
I am selling my flat and it has come to my attention that there is a charge belonging to the previous owner on the land register in section C in favour of Barclays bank.
I bought the property 10 years ago and unfortunately both my, and the sellers solicitors have since dissolved.
Does anyone have a suggestion for the way forward?

Someone will have taken over the files from your solicitor, so track down them as a first step.1

Or contact Barclays with the details and ask them to discharge it - may be tricky if they don’t have a record and/or won’t deal with you as you’re not the account holderjwf123 said:Hi,
